Hart and Huntington FMX tour.

Pink’s husband Carey Hart will hold a series of free motocross events around her upcoming Funhouse tour, as the couple rebuild their relationship in Australia.

Mingay will be performing alonside one of his idols for the first time here in Australia, “ive always been a massie fan of Carey’s due to his massive success and business frame of mind, not to mention his wicked Tatts. Carey has made it big time from being a crazy dude, so to perform alongside the legend who was the first guy on the planet to do a back flip on a dirt bike will be an honour” Mingay said.

Carey will also be driving Matts Spare Holden drift ute alongside him at one of the V8 Supercar events all stickered up in the Hart and Huntington livery.

Based on his tattoo shop and clothing brand, the Hart and Huntington Freestyle Tour will be a celebration of motocross and the associated art, fashion, music, bikes, cars and culture.

The three-hour events will be held ahead of selected shows on Pink’s 42-date Australian tour, in Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast.

Hart, a freestyle motocross (FMX) star, came up with the idea of putting on and starring in the free shows as a way to give something back to Australian fans.

“It is tough for people out there nowadays to go spend a lot of money on a ticket to go to a tour or music festival,” Hart told AAP from Las Vegas.

“Australia is very good to Pink and that’s why it was so exciting for me.

“If we’re going to do something free and give back to people, it’s in Australia.”

NZ V8 Supercars

The NZ Hamilton round of the V8 Supercars was a massive event for the Stuntz Inc team. Mingay had a shocking start to the 3 day event with a nasty crash on the very first show of Friday morning. Mingay was rushed to hospital with a suspected broken back after hitting a manhole whilst wheelieing his Harley Nighster. A CT scan confirmed he had minor fractures from L1-L5 in his lower back. As true stuntrider form Mingay returned the following morning to the race track and the fans to continue his shows, “im a strong believer in the phrase the show must go on, so i dosed up on some pain killers and got back on my horse and finished what i came to NZ for” Mingay said. Fans sure did appreciate it with a massive applause on every outing. Other riders Allan Morrison and Robbie Bolger rode like demons all weekend and Morrison even managed to keep his bike in one piece along with staying on the Beast! Well Known Kiwi Drift Johnny Udy also joined the Stuntz Inc team for the weekend doing drift demos in his twin Turboed Holden Monaro. Udy fitting in just great between the 2 boys in there Holden VE utes.

Adelaide V8 Supercars

The Hitachi Stunt team performed at the Adelaide V8 Supercars once again to a massive crowd of around 250,000 people. The Stuntz Inc riders consisting of Matt Mingay, Allan Morrison and Lukey Luke wowed the crowd over the 4 long days. Also debuting for the first time was Robbie Bolger and Matt Mingay steering there brand new Holden VE utes. With very few problems to iron out of the new Holdens the boys managed to burn up a dozen brand new Dunlops and many many new bike tyres. Unfortunately Morrison blew up his 636 on the final show, leaving only days to put a new engine in before departing on the boat heading for the massive show in NZ in a few weeks.

Stuntz Inc riders Lukey Luke and Allan Morrison performed at the 2009 World Superbikes in Phillip Island in March. The two Pro riders performed many times over the weekend in front of the massive crowd.

Mingay gets SHOT!

After filming many movies and commercials as a stuntdouble, Mingay got the opportunity to act as himself in a major film to be released late 2009.
Acting as a bad ass bikie doing stunts on his Harley Nightster 1200 in front of his bikie club Mingay gets shot by a Sniper in the forehead whilst doing Donuts.
“this was my first go at acting in a film, unfortunately it was short lived as i had to act like i just got my brains blown out and then play dead, i think i did pretty good?” Mingay says. “the worst part was having to grow half a beard”
The film is continued to be filmed in Hong Kong and returns to Australia to be completed in early 2009 where Mingay will be called upon once again for his Stunt skills.
Keep your eye out for BLOODMONEY the movie!

Northam Motorcycle Festival

The annual Northam Motorcycle festival north of Perth this year was a ball tearer of an event. Not only were 2 of the best stuntriders in Oz there to entertain the masses but it was an official round of the Australian Supermotard championship.
Mingay and Cam Ambridge made the long trip over and were looking forward to performing in front of the WA crowd. “its an awesome event where the crowd are up close and personal and they always make heaps of noise” said Ambridge.
Mingay was riding his new Harley this year and the crowd certainly appreciated the big thumping twin. Mingay said “i dont think they were expecting me to bust out circles and crazy tricks on the big new Harley, it was a great response”.
Along with the two Stuntz Inc riders were the Showtime FMX show for its debut at Northam. The crowd were pumped to see a backflip for the first time.
The two fantastic days saw a record crowd through the gates and assured the event as a major success once again.

Stuntz Inc rated #1 as “show favourite”

Stuntz Inc rider Matt Mingay performed once again at the Sydney Bike Expo at the famous Homebush Stadium. Riding along side Mingay for his first time at Homebush was fellow Stuntz Inc rider Lukey Luke. Lukey was contracted for the event through his major sponsor Triumph who were more than happy with his performances seen as it was the first time they had seen Lukey perform live.

The duo performed 4-5 times per day on the small and difficult polished pebble surface which also saw Lukey have a couple of minor crashes. Mingay decided to use his Brand new Harley Nightster (see above) for all of his stunt performances even though he only got a few hours practise on the beast the day before. The Harley made the whole show rumble everytime it started and certainly got the crowd to there feet.

The 30,000 strong crowd loved every bit of the Stuntz Inc peformances and the information reviewed from the Survey ran by Exhibition and Trade Shows of the entire Expo came through to find “The Stuntz Inc and Harley show” as the crowd favourite followed by the Showtime FMX show in second place.

Mingay and Harley-Davidson join forces!

Two Godfathers of the Motorcycle Industry have joined forces to take Australian Stuntriding to the next level.

Harley Davidson and Stuntz Inc have partnered up in a move that has sent shockwaves throughout the sport. “Matt Mingay has been the dominant force in Australian Stuntriding for over 10 years now, the recent Australian Championships highlighted how high he has set the benchmark, the only true opposition he has faced in years has come from the bike itself.” said Rebecca Mesh, Stuntz Inc PR Manager. “It seemed only natural to stunt a Harley, the hardest bike by far to try and perform tricks on.”

The bike debuted at last weekends’ Sydney Motorcycle Expo to enthusiastic crowds and a throng of autograph hunters. Mobile phones and cameras lined the barriers as people jostled for position to get a photo of that ‘amazing’ Harley Davison Nightster. With just four weeks to prepare the bike before the show, Matt would like to especially thank Zac from Evo-Moto and the entire Stuntz Inc Team for coming together and making this happen for Harley Davidson.

A full factory-backed season of Stunt Shows has already been booked for 2009, so the Official Harley Davidson Nightster Stunt Show will be coming to a motorsport event or a Harley Dealer near you in the very near future.
